| Description: | Having an office close to ASTRON’s Radio Observatory control room is quite inspiring, also from a social point of view. Apart from the hard work that is being done in this room by observers, astronomers, commissioners and many others, there is always room for a jest. This time it was a talking Merry X-Mas doormat that was no longer tolerated at the home of one colleague’s family. Apparently one can get an overdose of HO HO HO MERRY CHRISTMAS….
It is always entertaining to see the reactions of people when they step onto this doormat. All in all, the message is clear: Merry Christmas!
