|Description:|| Early February, the ESCAPE (European Science Cluster of Astronomy & Particle physics ESFRI research Infrastructures) kicked off. The goal of the project is to implement science analysis platforms on top of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) services, so that researchers can stage data collections, and analyse them.|
The project is a collaboration between astronomy and particle physics research infrastructures. ASTRON leads the work package that will deliver a science analysis platform that connects the software and data to the processing and storage. JIVE is also involved in this project, representing the EVN. Work at ASTRON and JIVE covers all aspects of the project: storage and data management infrastructure, software availability, FAIR data access using the virtual observatory (VO) and the science analysis platform that brings it all together.
