European Microwave Week 2020

| Description: | The European Microwave Week (EuMW) is Europe’s premier Microwave, RF, Wireless and Radar event. The EuMW combines the European Microwave Conference (EuMC), the European Microwave Integrated Circuit Conference (EuMIC), the European Radar Conference (EuRAD), plus Europe’s largest tradeshow dedicated to microwaves and RF. The Netherlands hosts this exciting event every 5 to 6 years. This edition, ASTRON played a significant role in organising the event. David Prinsloo is the Publication Chair, Mark Bentum is co-chairing the Defence, Security and Space forum, and Wim van Cappellen is the chair of the 50th European Microwave Conference. Early 2020, the organisation of the in-person event in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht event was almost complete. Unfortunately Covid-19 forced us to delay and make it fully virtual. A major task again, as over 700 videos had to be recorded! But we succeeded, and the conference is now running!
