Testing with the Dwingeloo Test Station (DTS)

Submitter: LOFAR2.0 DTS
Description: During the weekends, espicaly round the public holidays, we have used DTS to perform some long term measurement. In the images above we would like to show the results of the Ascension weekend.

One of the key specifications of LOFAR2.0 is measuring using the low- and the highband antenna at the same time. For the measurement of this weekend we used 9 lowband antenna and 3 HBA tiles. The tiles are pointed to zennit. Two tiles are measured in the 110-190 MHz mode and one tile is measured at the 210-270 MHz mode, given DTS a bandwidth ranging from 10 till 270 MHz all sampling synchronous.

The first image shows the passband of the last measurement point indicating the bandwidth we can sample with LOFAR2.0. The second image is the spectrogram of the full 300 MHz over 120 hours. The third and fourth image shows the 60 MHz frequency point over time for all LBA and the 150 MHz frequency point for the HBAtiles, both are split in X and Y polarisation.
