ASTRON at the American Astronomical Society Meeting (AAS241)

Submitter: Joseph Callingham
Description: The winter American Astronomical Society Meeting (AAS) is one of the largest astronomy meetings in the world. This year marked the 241st meeting in Seattle, WA, and the first with an in-person component since the pandemic. With over 1500 in person attendants, ASTRON was sure to be present in the exhibit hall to inform everyone present about our awesome science and engineering work. Along with our colleagues at SRON, we handed stroopwafels while informing people about LOFAR2.0, our summer student program, and what the future holds for ASTRON. Who knows - maybe some of the people we met could be a future colleague. The picture shows our AAS ASTRON stall and the champions responsible for keeping it running.
