| Description: | Prior to the AZ plenary of December 2019 the people working at the General Affairs department have been asked to mention a number of successes, facts they are proud of. One of them is shown in this daily image: the energy management of our facilities which is, according to external consultants, on a very professional level. Some other highlights are: •Successful off site back-up ESX cluster •Implementing new quarterly financial settlement for project administration •(Inter)national media paid a lot of attention to news about ASTRON, LOFAR and SKA •Successful recruiting and selection •Up-to-date guesthouse •Implementation purchase webform •….. It is not always visible how much work has been and has to be done at the department General Affairs. Despite some vacancies and illness of some colleagues, and thus with a minimum of resources, a lot has been achieved! |
