LOFAR Development Meetings

The LOFAR Development meetings have the following goals:

  • Prioritize the development work for the software development team at ASTRON based on input from the ASTRON MT, the ILT, the KSPs, Operations, and the Dev team itself.
  • Identify resource problems and address these.

The meetings kicked of on Jan. 24th 2013, after the LCCG was abandoned. The current (Jan 2013) members are:

  • Michael Wise (project scientist)
  • Roberto Pizzo, Antonis Polatidis (LOFAR system/operations)
  • George Heald (Imaging modes)
  • Jason Hessels (Beamformed modes)
  • Hanno Holties (LTA)
  • Ronald Nijboer (BG, calibration and imaging)
  • Arno Schoenmakers (scrum master dev. team)

The remaining entries are to be considered and (re-)prioritised for the following sprints.

The un-numbered entries should receive estimates of the effort required/priority in subsequent meetings.
