The 78th edition of the Nederlandse Astronomen Conferentie (NAC) will be held this year in the Westcord WTC hotel in Leeuwarden from 15 to 17 May.

In addition to the presentations, there are a number of special sessions and lectures planned. Details will be announced on the website when available, but it has already been announced that there will be an invited lecture by Prof. Phil Diamond, director-general of the SKA Observatory, and a special evening lecture on Frisian Astronomy by Dr Arjen Dijkstra, director of the TRESOAR Frisian Historical and Literary Center. In addition to this, there will also be a number of social activities.

Registration and abstract submissions for the event are now open and will remain so until March 31st, and includes all conference lunches and dinners, as well as two nights of accommodation in the WTC Westcord Hotel. Rates without accommodation are also available.
